It finally happened...

In a desperate attempt to get herself to Hawaii my dear big sister suckered me into becoming an Usborne Book consultant. Can you believe it? I know, totally thought if I ever gave into being a consultant for any company it would have been Lia Sophia. However, these books really are awesome and even though I have no children (yet) I own around 20 titles. I don't quite know if I'll try to make something of this, get me some money on the side, or just let it expire. I guess that rests on you, my readers! All 3 of you! HA! If you're interested in hosting a show - which would earn you 50% off some books and getting others for FREE! - please let me know! I would love to get you and your kids some really great books! Check out my website if you're interested! www.ubah.com/G3324 Thanks! Wish me luck!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

JJ and I have spread Valentine's Day out over a week or so because he's had so much homework and then work, so we weren't going to have a whole day to be together - so we spread the love! We ate out some nights, went to see "Valentine's Day" at the District (Fabulous movie!!!), ate lots of chocolate, cuddled on the couch, etc - but most of all just enjoyed our love for one another!
Friday night I was waiting for my Valentine to get home from work and the doorbell rang... what the?? No one comes to visit so I was immediately skeptical. This is what I opened the door to!
A tiny Koala bear holding a Love You! balloon :) someone loves me!
Valentine's morning I got up and decorated the kitchen table, then made pink waffles with dark chocolate chips for my sweetie - he gushed over how good they were the whole time! GO me!

Present time! Jidge got some new shoes & some Tootsie rolls (he loves the vanilla ones) and I got another stuffed animal "bear"ing presents - chocolate, a girls best friend. I also got a new tank and sweater (seen in the next picture...) I love you JJ!

Smiling kids in pink! We look so cute together, don't cha think???
Me and Caitlin - super cute sister! We just had to have a picture since we looked like we could be going to a school dance with our matching outfits :)

We ate dinner at JJ's mom's house - she made heart-shaped meatloaf! Sooo very impressed by this! My sister can't stand meatloaf - hello, it's a LOAF of MEAT! Ug! hahaha, but I'm a fan and very much enjoyed this tasty Valentine's dinner!

The girls! I look a bit evil but JJ was making me laugh pretty hard so you get a crazy face!
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Superbowl XLIV!!!

Are You Ready For Some Football?!?! We sure were! We joined some of my siblings at my dad's to watch the game, laugh at commercials and eat some seriously yummy food.

Superbowl XLIV: Saints vs. Colts - Go Saints!!!!

We didn't have any Saints attire so we went with a little Steelers and Buccaneers clothing instead, showing some love for the sport at least!

This was my sad attempt at making a cake into a football.... It didn't go well to say the very least and I was pretty distraught over the whole catastrophe, but JJ insisted that we eat it. It was just further evidence that I am not a chef/baker.

Stop The Presses!!! My pigs in a blanket turned out awesome - they were a hit! They disappeared so fast! I also made Muddy Buddies - soooooo delicious! I apparently just need to limit my ingredients, make sure there's not much required from the human making it, and as little cooking as possible and I do ok!

Cute Fans!

The Saints WIN!!!!! WooHoo!!!! I snapped this shot, classic gatorade dump! I love me some Breez!!! :) Hope you all enjoyed your Superbowl Sunday!

My Beautiful Damsel!

This is my sweet Grandma, she always calls me her "beautiful damsel" :) How cute is that, right? Sometimes I can call her that before she says it to me and it always makes her giggle. I live to make her smile and laugh, it's one of my very favorite things!!
So for one of my ideas on getting her to smile super big was to take her to see New Moon!!!
The piece of paper that looks like a film strip has a picutre of Edward on the bottom (you can barely see it) but boy oh boy how she giggled when she saw him!
I took her to see Twilight so I wanted to continue with the tradition, my mom and I took her to the District to see the movie & eat some lunch.

Girls Love Vampires!!! :) As we sat down with our lunch (from the deli - oh how I love their turkey sandwiches and fries!!) I asked my Grandma how she liked it... her response? "Well, the werewolves really scared me!" Ooops... I kinda forgot about those, so very sorry Grandma! I'll have to see the next movie and really think about things like that. But we had a fantastic time and really need to do fun things like that more often!
