St George!

Welcome to Sunny St George. We packed our bags and headed down on March 19th for a visit with our Grandparents.
Me and my handsome hubby! We LOVED wearing shorts - 83 degrees, small breeze and flip flops, what could be better!?

One of our very favorite events was visiting the St George "water walk" next to the Tabernacle. The kids had a blast running around in the water, it was just their size!

They also had a fountain like the one at the Gateway, so fun to watch the kids run in and out of it. This was as close to the middle as Kodie would get!

We were lucky enough to get there during Spring Break for the college kids so the pool was open - it felt great! Kodie, Cooper (hiding from the bright sun), Amy and JJ.

This is Cooper, he's a tough guy, this was his mean face. He was using it to intimidate JJ while they played soccer in the backyard.

As always with a trip to St George you have to go to the Pizza Factory - it's my favorite!

Cooper and Kodie taking a break at the playground.

My husband - he's a kid at heart!

Again with the kid-ness. He just had to try out the toys at the playground.

This is a better shot of the playground - brand spankin' new. My grandma called it the "Million Dollar Playground" I can certainly see how they could have spent that much. Swing sets, a rock climbing wall, 2 jungle gyms, weird toys.... we had a great time.

Mr. and Mrs. Rockwell! This is Grandma's necessary picture before you leave her house. We love you grandparents!! Thank you for letting us invade your house for the weekend!!!

Girls Day!!!

Happy Birthday Girls! One day a year we go out to celebrate everyone's birthday. Me in March, Mom and Em in April, Amy and Court in May. We started out with breakfast at Mimi's, shopping alllllllll the day long, lunch at Olive Garden and then more shopping!!!

Willy Wonka! Emily came up behind me with these glasses on and asked me "Hi! Would you like to go to the Chocolate Factory with me?!" She couldn't quite get the whole sentence out as she was laughing so hard - it was heeelarious!

Amy and Emily at the Olive Garden - we gathered here for a baby shower for my cousin. We weren't really hungry cuz we stuffed ourselves at breakfast, but it was still a good time!

Court and my mommy - cute girls!!!

The Bayou!

Yet another celebration of yours truly! To celebrate my birthday with my dad a few of us that could handle the spicey food went to The Bayou. It was so much fun!!

Me and my honey!

Daddy and his sweetheart Barb.

My sis Amy and her hubby Jayson.

My "step-sister" Amber and her buddy Jake.

This was my dinner - Jumbalaya! I'm quite amazed that I actually like this but it's super tasty. It's pretty dang spicey for my white girl mouth - at least 3 diet cokes with this meal.

Dessert! Also extremely tasty... I couldn't talk anyone into deep fried twinkies so we stuck with original cheesecake.

Living Planet Aquarium!!

Happy Birthday Candace!!!

For my birthday this year I took the day off and spent it with my sister Amy and her 2 kids. We spent most of our day at the Aquarium - It was sooo much fun!

How cool is this?! It's a BLUE frog!!!!!

This is a yellow-banded poison dart frog. Dudes that live in the jungle would rub their darts on this guy to make them, of course, poisonous!

Seahorses! These are one of my very favoritest living in water creatures. I was very excited to see one so close-up.

This here was one of the coolest parts of the Aquarium. They had 5-6 little tanks with different kinds of starfish that you can touch. Funky feelin things!

We were standing by the shark tank and I was going to take a picture of Coop smiling but just as I did it a shark swam right by his head - this was the result! Soooo Funny!!!!

Touching the Stingrays!
This was crazy to watch.... As soon as we got to the tank this Octopus started climbing up the side of it. It made my skin crawl to be completely honest!

Hallo! My name's Bruce!

Look!!! I found Nemo!
